About Us

               My father is an exceptional man who has worked diligently throughout his life, and his efforts have truly paid off. From a young age, he was committed to hard work and treating others with respect. He owned and successfully operated his own feed mill for several years while also completing residential construction projects on the side. As his construction work continued to grow, he chose to focus solely on that path, eventually establishing Double H Home Improvements. For many years, he worked independently, completing numerous outstanding projects. Through over 30 years in the construction industry, he has gained extensive knowledge and experience.

               As a child, I often accompanied my father to work, where I would watch him closely and help with cleanup. As I grew older, I became more involved and was able to assist with the projects themselves. Being able to observe how my father approached his work was a valuable experience, and learning from such a dedicated teacher was truly meaningful. I attended East Surry High School and later earned a degree in Construction Management. After college, I chose to return home and pursue residential construction. Eventually, my father and I became business partners, continuing the work together.
